It covers nail cutting, filing, hard skin reduction, corn removal and verruca treatment, finished with foot care advice and emollient. New patients start with a 45-minute initial assessment (£47.50) that includes the same routine treatment, so you're treated at your first visit.

What happens
- Step 1
Foot bath
Your feet are cleaned and soaked to soften skin and nails.
- Step 2
Nails
Nails are cut, filed and burred (smoothed with a fine rotary tool) so the edges don't catch.
- Step 3
Skin
Hard skin is reduced and corns are removed with a sterile blade. Both are dead skin, so it shouldn't hurt.

Advice
Emollient is applied and Ray talks you through footwear and day-to-day care.
Questions about routine foot care
How often should I have routine foot care?
- Most people book every 6 to 8 weeks, which is about how long nails and hard skin take to build up again. Ray will suggest an interval that suits your feet.
Do I need an initial assessment first?
- Yes, if you're new to the clinic. The 45-minute initial assessment (£47.50) includes routine treatment, so you're treated at your first visit.
Does routine foot care hurt?
- It shouldn't. Hard skin and corns are dead tissue, and Ray works carefully around sensitive areas. Tell him if anything feels uncomfortable.
